Well, it seems Joe Simpson is once again causing problems in the Simpson girls’ lives. The former preacher manages his daughter’s careers but seems to want to have a hand in Tony Romo’s too!
Jessica’s controlling Father seems to be the contributing factor behind the couple’s split back in May. A source to Us Magazine even states that Joe Simpson wanted Tony Romo to drop the current agent of his $67.5 million dollar contract, so that Simpson could take over Romo’s NFL career.
Supposedly, Joe Simpson even told Jessica and Tony that if they became engaged or decided to get married that he would work up a deal to sell the photos and story, as he had done with daughter Ashlee when she married Pete Wentz.
Us Magazine asked for a comment from Joe Simpson and he responded by saying, “It’s unfair to criticize me for what every manager does for his or her clients. And in this business, where people can quickly turn on you, who better than a parent to be working for his children?”
Another reason for Jessica and Romo’s split was said to be her partying. Romo likes to drink a bit, but it’s being said Jessica tends to go overboard.
Just recently, Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson resumed dating one another. Let’s hope “Daddy Joe” can stay out of their relationship and not attempt to manage their love-life anymore.
