Three Mile Island

Japan suffered the biggest earthquake disaster in the history of the world. The earthquake followed by tsunami that was terrible. After Japan Tsunami, should be faced with nuclear disaster. Japan is trying to overcome the leakage of nuclear reactors at a nuclear power plant in Fukushima.

Of course, this issue is also worrying to neighboring countries because of possible radiation effects will be felt, although the World Health Organization (WHO) states that the risk will occur on public health due to leakage of nuclear reactors in Japan are still low enough scale. For while the radiation is still a local hazard.

Similar events have occurred, namely leakage of nuclear reactor in Chernobyl (1986) and Three Mile Island (1979). Both are compared to the largest disaster that occurred in Fukushima who are at level 4 on an international scale.

Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station (TMI) is a civilian nuclear power plant located on Three Mile Island, south of Harrisburg, As. Three Mile Island, which has two separate units, the TMI-1 and TMI-2. In 1979 the U.S. suffered the biggest nuclear disaster at Three Mile Island, the TMI-2 suffered a partial crisis. Three Mile Island nuclear power plant is the worst ever nuclear accident occurred in the United States that is located on level 5, which means even worse when compared with that occurred in Fukushima, Japan.

About the dangers of radiation impact to public health there is a difference of opinion about the danger that will be generated, but would be much better if the leakage of nuclear reactors can be overcome, although not an easy job. But hopes and prayers for the success of a team of experts in solving this problem is very big.
