Watch State of Georgia Season 1 Episode 1, Episode Synopsis: STATE OF GEORGIA (ABC Family) Episode 1 – Georgia, a brash, confident Southern twenty-something, arrives in New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a famous actress. To make ends meet, she works various part-time jobs, accompanied (often by Georgia’s sheer will) by her best friend and roommate Jo. Jo, cute but socially awkward, has anxiety issues and lives for science. She, too, has ambitious dreams of her own – to get into the Physics department at a top-tier university.
